In-office teeth whitening takes just over one hour to perform. The results are immediate and dramatic. For more mildly stained teeth, we recommend take-home teeth whitening kits with custom trays. We take a mold of your teeth and your custom molded trays are usually ready to be picked up later in the same day. A porcelain crown is permanently bonded to the natural tooth. The porcelain is translucent and allows light to penetrate inside, just like normal tooth enamel. This enables the porcelain crown to mimic the natural translucency of your teeth.

Cosmetic Dentist NYC -Tooth Colored Fillings

Although our BPA-free materials cost us more, we do not pass these costs on to our patients.
At Sachar Dental NYC, we only use the least toxic materials in our dentistry. Tooth colored fillings are not only the least toxic kind, but also the most aesthetically appealing.
Tooth colored fillings may consist of a resin type composite filling material, porcelain inlays and porcelain onlay fillings. Porcelain is naturally translucent which allows light to penetrate inside just like normal tooth enamel. Additionally, our resin fillings can also be translucent to mimic the appearance of your natural teeth.
A porcelain inlay filling is made out of porcelain that is shaped in the dental laboratory and used to fill large cavities within the tooth. A porcelain onlay filling is also made out of translucent porcelain that is shaped in the dental laboratory, and used to fill larger cavities that have resulted in the loss of one or more of the outer surfaces of the tooth. These porcelain fillings allow the tooth to look and function normally and be strong. The porcelain is permanently bonded to the natural tooth.
No matter which material is utilized, the goal of the tooth colored fillings is to restore the original strength, shape, size as well as the function of the natural teeth.
